Sinfonia Spirituosa is a chamber orchestra dedicated to presenting bold, historically-informed performances on period instruments. Through vibrant, collegial exchange, we aspire to faithfully bring to life the broad spectrum of color, affect, and rhetoric inherent in the music of the Baroque era, and to share our passion for performing this period’s extraordinary variety of repertoire with the audiences of today. We are honored to be Artists-in-Residence at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Sacramento, and also present concerts in Berkeley, Davis, Grass Valley, and elsewhere.
